Pregnancy and birth can be a time when we appreciate support
The Marist Family, Lay and Religious, will dedicate mother and baby to Mary Mother of Good Hope, with ongoing prayer before the Blessed Sacrament for a safe delivery, a life of grace and the gift of belonging in the family of God.
Please fill in the "Request a Prayer Card" form below. We send a prayer card to the parents (post or email) and dedicate them under Mary's care throughout the pregnancy and beyond.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are accessing this site
from a phone or tablet you may not be able to see
the 'Request a Prayer Card' form.
If this is the case
please email the parent(s)-to-be name(s) and address to firstname.lastname@example.org
Feel free to include your own name and/or special message and we will then advise the recipient, who made the request.
You are welcome to register newborn babies and sensitive situations needing prayer. Simply leave a note including any special circumstances so the appropriate message can be included in their card.
There is never a charge for this dedication prayer to Our Lady of Good Hope, however if you are able to make a small donation to help with costs we are grateful.
Enrol expectant mums, their unborn babies or newborns under Mary's care and protection.
Are you, or someone you know, expecting a baby?
Since its beginnings, the Society of Mary has had a prayer network for expectant mothers, placing them under the protection of Mary, Mother of Good Hope.
You can send us the names & address of the parent(s)-to-be in the form below.
Include your own name and/or any special message so that we can advise the recipient who made the request.
We will send a prayer card to the parents (either by post or email) and enter their names in a register that is kept in the chapel here. They are prayed for every day by many Marist priests, religious, and lay people.
You may wish to pray for the expectant mothers and their babies
Father in Heaven, I pray that you will protect all expectant mothers and their babies.
Please bring mother and baby through a safe delivery and guide the minds, hearts and hands of all those involved in their care.
Mary, Mother of Good Hope, please pray for all those mothers committed to your care and protection. Amen
